Name Change!

I've had my 1964 Thunderbolt for a grand total of 4 days and I'm changing her name from "Lil' Buttercup."

Why?

Out of respect for Sisters.

Let me explain.

Way before I brought home my little cutie (when I was just a one-trailer gal with Stella the A-frame), I was surfing the web for clubs for women RVers and discovered an amazing group of women.  Sisters on the Fly (SOTF) was started by two real-life sisters, Becky and Maurrie, whose mom Mazie raised them right:  camping and fishing and, as Becky says on their website, "She was our best role model and taught us about enjoying the outdoors and becoming capable women."  RIGHT ON!  That's a group for me!  So I signed up, proudly received my number (I'm officially Sister #3668), and proceeded to register Stella with SOTF.

When naming your trailer, SOTF asks that you be unique and not duplicate the trailer name of another Sister.  As there were already a couple trailers with Buttercup in their name, I put on my thinking cap and tried to decide what my little trailer reminded me of.  Let's see:  she's teeny tiny, she's adorable and sweet, and she's going to be painted a beautiful shade of buttery yellow.

"Lil' Chick"!!!!

I think the Thunderbolt looks as
adorable - and determined! - as this little cutie, don't you?
"Lil' Chick" it is!
